On 1 October 2018, H.E. Tamar Beruchashvili held a working meeting with IMO Secretary General Kitack Lim.

On 26-28 September a joint delegation of the Embassy of Georgia to the UK and the Tbilisi City Hall paid a visit to Bristol to take part in bilateral meetings and events in the frames of the 30th Anniversary of Bristol Tbilisi Twinning celebrations.

After the remarkable success of the first International Maritime Forum 2016, the port town of Batumi will once gain host the high-level international conference - “Georgia International Maritime Forum - #GIMF2018” on 12th-13th September, 2018.

On 7 August 2018, during the art exhibition dedicated to the victims of Russia-Georgia war of 2008, held in the Embassy of Georgia, a British Journalist and a Russian propagandist Graham Phillips broke into the Embassy.
