Today, the National Flag of Georgia is flying at half-mast at the premises of the Embassy of Georgia in London to commemorate the tragic occasion of the occupation of the Democratic Republic of Georgia by Soviet Russia's Red Army on February 25, 1921 and to honour all the soldiers and civilians who heroically fought against the invasion of the Red Army and sacrificed their lives defending their homeland.
