​A book of condolences was opened at the Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the passing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.

​Condolences were written by the representative of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the Vicar of St Savior’s Church, the Apostolic Nuncio, the representatives of diplomatic missions, and members of the Georgian diaspora.

The Embassy of Georgia expresses its gratitude for the sympathy and support extended following the passing of Ilia II.
